Section Leaders - Las Voces del Lago Section Leaders serve as vocal leaders, logistical supporters and morale-builders in their chorus sections. They help ensure musical excellence, smooth communication and a strong sense of ensemble unity. If you have a question about your part, ask your section leader for some help.
Section leaders are:
Chorus Buddy - A Chorus Buddy is a welcoming partner assigned to new chorus members for at least their first few rehearsals. The Buddy helps newcomers feel comfortable, informed, and connected—both musically and socially. Existing singers might want a Chorus Buddy if you need a little extra help with things like finding your place in a score, marking up the music, finding your pitch, etc. Each Chorus Buddy will be assigned no more than 2 singers. If you want a Chorus Buddy or if you can volunteer to be a Buddy, talk to your section leader.
